چکیده

In this article, a mathematical model capable of simulating the heat transfer cylindrical vessels whose properties are dependent on temperature is proposed. As case study, it compares, from an approach their and chemical migration characteristics as function reached, different materials commonly used for manufacture water bottles. More specifically, studied were aluminium, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene. The validation consists experiment carried out in laboratory with three bottles each under well simulations using Network Simulation Method to recreate that occurs through walls On other hand, nondimensionalization technique also applied, which allows us obtain weight variables problem, existing relationship between them. Finally, outside 30 °C 50 simulated, common range southern Europe during summer season, initial 20 contained bottle know behaviour what final would be after one hour.

Numerical Analysis of Transient Heat Transfer in Radial Porous Moving Fin with Temperature Dependent Thermal Properties

In this article, a time dependent partial differential equation is used to model the nonlinear boundary value problem describing heat transfer through a radial porous moving fin with rectangular profile. The study is performed by applying a numerical solver in MATLAB (pdepe), which is a centered finite difference scheme. The thermal conductivity and fin surface emissivity are linearly ...

Multi-boiling Heat Transfer Analysis of a Convective Straight Fin with Temperature-Dependent Thermal Properties and Internal Heat Generation

In this study, by using the finite volume method, the heat transfer in a convective straight fin with temperature-dependent thermal properties and an internal heat generation under multi-boiling heat transfer modes are analyzed. In this regard, the local heat transfer coefficient is considered to vary within a power-law function of temperature. In the present study, the coexistence of all the b...

Convective Heat Transfer PastSmall Cylindrical

Convective heat transfer from an array of small, cylindrical bodies of arbitrary shape in an unbounded, two-dimensional domain is a singular perturbation problem involving an innnite logarithmic expansion in the small parameter ", representing the order of magnitude of the size of the bodies. Using the method of matched asymptotic expansions, we formulate a hybrid asymptotic-numerical method to...

Transient Heat Diffusion with Temperature-Dependent Conductivity and Time-Dependent Heat Transfer Coefficient

Lie point symmetry analysis is performed for an unsteady nonlinear heat diffusion problem modeling thermal energy storage in a medium with a temperature-dependent power law thermal conductivity and subjected to a convective heat transfer to the surrounding environment at the boundary through a variable heat transfer coefficient. Large symmetry groups are admitted even for special choices of the...

Heat transfer in temperature-dependent non-Newtonian flow

Flow and thermal convection in heat exchangers can be affected by variations in viscosity. In circular pipes the significance of this effect was expressed by Sieder and Tate’s empirical formula. Similar correction can be derived for other heat transfer problems. Exact solutions for heat transfer during the non-isoviscous laminar flow of Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids in circular and flat d...
